Catherine Strahan graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emperor's College of Traditional Oriental Medicine, where she concentrated on Japanese style acupuncture. This is a gentle and painless therapy, with emphasis on patient comfort. Catherine previously graduated with honors from UCSB with a BA in Art History. Additionally, she is a certified Yoga teacher with many hours of study and teaching. She has a variety of interests including Ashtanga Yoga, Tibetan Buddhism, and Shamanism. Catherine is from a third generation Santa Barbara family of healers, avid gardeners, and nature lovers. She is fascinated by the role of art, poetry, and plants, and how they provide a personal process of healing and growth. Catherine enjoys spending time with her fiance Ryland. Their favorite thing to do is cook and make music together.
